The Kutztown GNU/Linux User Group provides an environment for Open Source software, Free software, and the GNU/Linux operating system to flourish in the community. We provide a means for local users to connect with each other for support, promotional and educational purposes.
GNU/Linux is a computer operating system like Microsoft Windows or Mac OS. With the support of individuals, corporations, and organizations GNU/Linux has grown in support and popularity.
Meetings occur approximately once a month but times, dates, and locations are subject to place availability and user group attendees input. To get a say you need to be on the general mailing list. Meeting announcements are made on the low-volume announcements mailing list.

All things come to an end... While Jeremy, myself, and a number of people really wanted to see the group continue as it was it took allot of time and energy. With nobody wanting to take over important leadership roles the group fizzled out. Scott Lovenberg took over the remaining resources and had talked about working with KTA Linux initiatives. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
