Introduction to the desktop

In the last week the group has handed out hundreds of discs, and other freebies. "Linux Revolution" was yet another success thanks to a number of dedicated Linux enthusiasts and sponsors, especially Jack, Issac, & Jeremy among others. Additional support came from Linspire, Yellow Dog Linux, Addison-Wesley, Prentice Hall Professional and Sams Publishing.

The "Open Software" discs with FireFox, Thunderbird, and OpenOffice for Microsoft Windows users will be available through Kutztown University's Resent very shortly. A handful of remaining Freespire discs will also be available through Resent. We also have copies of Yellow Dog Linux for Mac if anybody else inquires about them (through the user group).
